Terraria360's new update. Those damn sneak developers...!

Those of you who play Terraria quite a lot on the XBox360 will have noticed that it has now been updated to have practically all of the PC versions items etc and come with it's fair share of annoying bugs and glitches.  The most notorious of these being that the Piggybank and Safe no longer keep your items and convert them into the item's ID worth of pickaxes...

While I don't normally go ahead with cheating in my games until I have completed it legitimately at least once, this situation has become and exception, because almost everything related to the update requires you to beat the jungle biome boss, Plantera, which cannot be achieved.
The spawning rate for all of the world's decorative grasses and plants is stupidly high at the moment, which swamps it with tons of space eating foliage and does not allow the special bulb plant required to summon Plantera to spawn.
This stops you legitimately accessing the jungles lihzhard temple as Plantera drops the key needed to open its door, which is currently breakable by virtually any mining tool.
You are also stopped from opening any of the special biome specific chests legitimately, which is a shame as things like the Vampire knives are a popular item for the more grueling end game fights.

Nearly all of the items added in the update can be obtained through what was dubbed the "Piggybank Glitch", which can be as rewarding as it is dangerous (possible save corruption, 20 minute slow debuffs etc (dying cures the debuffs)), you can probably find in a couple hundred videos on about it on YouTube.

Now for the second part of this post's title:
THOSE SNEAKY DEVELOPERS!!!!

Before the update, the Achievement for acquiring all of the games pets only involved 6 summoning items.  Now though, thanks to the update, it requires you to have 23 summoning items...!
This is the only other thing I used the Piggybank Glitch for (I wanted the MineCraft Creeper outfit from the halloween part of the update), and took a few hours to do.

Pet Items required now are:
Petri Dish
Vial of Blood
Cabbage
Brain
Beeswax
Wolf Fang   -----^ They were the original 6 you had to find.
Fish
Seaweed
Strange Glowing Mushroom
Parrot Cracker
Eater's Bone
Seedling
Nectar
Tiki Totem
Eye Spring
Spider Egg
Toy Sled
Magical Pumpkin Seed
Unlucky Yarn
Lizard Egg
Amber Mosquito
Cursed Sapling
Bone Key

The Cursed Sapling can only be gotten during a Pumpking Moon, something that requires you to Piggybank Glitch some Ectoplasm because that is only dropped by the Dungeon's skeletons after you beat Plantera (which you obviously can't do right now).  The best method is to turn auto save off, save near night time, use the amulet in a well spaced area / arena to start the P.Moon off, if you don't get it, exit without saving and try again.  I got it on my second attempt.

Though I am unsure if the Bone Key it is required for the achievement to unlock or not, it's always fun to have and show it off.  It is gotten by beating the Dungeon Guardian that will attack you before you defeat Skeletron at the begining of a new world.  It will one-hit-kill you and only takes 1 damage from anything you throw at it, so expect lots of running about to get this.  This is one boss I wouldn't mind tackling so that I can say I got it legitimately.

Even though I have completed the achievements now, I still play Terraria every now and then.  I'm currently trying to build a castle in a corruption, hallow, crimson (shudder) free world and it's going well!  The Clentaminator is the life saver for biome spreading and suppressing, it made getting 50% Corrupt and Hallowed worlds so easy.  I miss one of my older worlds though, it had gotten to 35% hallowed by just letting is spread and using Holy Waters XD   I derped heavily though on that when I thought about what I was doing, which was adding blocks to the world instead of taking them away D:

Eagerly awaiting Warface's server improvements! :O

Even though the connectivity to the Warface servers has been incredibly unpredictable while the dev' team gradually increase the player capacity, it's still been fun to play, even if it means going all the way to the end of a mission then getting thrown off by a random spike and losing most of what you just did XD

Wishing the VP bar would fill quicker... I'll admit i've been getting a little impatient about getting some of the later weapons, only having a few of the recent common and rare ones to unlock and now being left with all the "ultra-rare" guns @_@

Whilst i was on the closed Beta, like most people I mass bought the free Kredits, levelled up with the vending machine and bought most of the interesting looking weapons.
The Striker shotgun was awesome, can't wait to unlock it again!  However, what caught my eyes was that when they did a minor patch, the Striker was replaced with the FAS-12 (AA-12 in real life), THAT is what I really want to aim for!  A fully automatic shotgun to go with my fully automatic S18G pistol (G18)  :D
Due to the free unlocks and stuff, once I had looked at all i could thing of, I kinda got bored with the game, so I waited until the Beta went public and have started playing proper.

One major issue that still needs seeing to though, is that ally corpses act like obstacles sometimes, and cause you to jitter about on that spot before you can push past, so when I go on a "Knife only" lobby to do a knife kill related Crown Contract (Crowns are the games SPECIAL currency (not to be confused with the premium Kredits currency), they are used to buy higher end weapons and outfits etc so that you can have a heavier presence in matches, they also have a specialised design so you can tell them from standard clothing), that someone has started, because of the large amount of deaths, you often get stuck in an pool of your teammates bodies and then get killed easily because you can't move to safety.
Other than that there's very little wrong with the game now.  Connectivity issues come with expansion of the servers and a few minor issues like sometimes failing a co-op climb, don't affect the game much.

A geometry bug that i miss was where you are being dropped into the second part of a "Safari" co-op mission and could move against the left corner of the cockpit side of the transport chopper.  This sometimes made you fall out of it and onto a building bellow.  Then you could run around a few buildings and all the way down the main road, killing the Blackwood troops ahead of your team XD   The problem with that though is that you all have to board a transport truck with a checkpoint so that it can take you around the rest of the map, which means a suicide as you cannot get to the truck because of invisible barriers, followed by instant revival back a the truck.  I never tried to go to the Heavy gunner mini-boss as i was afraid of being kick-voted but it would have been hilarious if it had worked.

After some more fine tuning i can see Warface becoming a lot more fun, I just wish there were more people in my friends list who played is as much as i did.  Some peeps i used to play with are practically married to their XBox Ones now.
I should start some sort of recruitment thingy to get more people in my clan on their as well, "Warface-Furries", get a few furry peeps to play co-op with and so on.

Still Writing my Bio page...

zzzzzz it's taking aaaages to think of things...

Yugioh: Millennium Duels - Getting used to all the new cards... D:

I haven't played a Yugioh game in aaaaaages, it's changed so much since the GBA and DS games came out D:

All these things about Union monsters and Synchro summons made my head spin and I'm still not entirely sure I understand them.

Anywho...  I'm almost through the first part of the single player and struggling loads on the ZEXAL characters.  Having used the same deck for every fight up till now then suddenly hitting a brick wall, I rebuilt my deck using what I have managed to farm from mass duelling Tea Gardner XD

It has proven to have been a very good decision so far, although I do rely on a few specific cards, I usually end up with at least one that i want in my had at the beginning of the match :D

Yubel's Wrath

Normal Monsters
D.D. Trainer x2
Flamvell Guard
Renge, Gatekeeper of Dark World

Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare
A Cat of Ill Omen

Sakuretsu Armor x3

Can't make it any better than that until i get some more of the cards but i am assuming that all the ones i really want will be banned or limited :/    ONWARD WITH THE DUELING!

Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea

I had been craving a change in pace from Call of Duty and  Terraria and snagged the On Demand version when i saw it was on sale.

The main story wasn't too bad, although I did get a little confused towards the end until things were explained @_@

So far, Burial at Sea has been... interesting.  They did a good job recreating Rapture, I couldn't help but laugh as one of the first things you see is a whale, just like you do in the first Bioshock, but not as robotic.  Sander Cohen is just as twisted as i remember him being! XD

The brutality and violence seems to work better in Rapture than it did in Columbia, it just seems to fit in more with all the psychopaths and weirdos of Rapture than the highly strung religious and political atmosphere of Columbia.

One thing I am slowly getting used to is the limited resources in the dlc, shots have to be well placed and vigour / plasmid usage has to be thought through, especially when against a big group of enemies.
In the original Bioshock I had an uncanny knack for swinging my aim and getting a headshot with the revolver, but it doesn't seem to be as easy this time around :/

I really need to get into the habit of cleaning the 360's hard drive if I want to play the rest of the dlc.  I rarely play Battlefield 3 anymore (most of my online friends now have an XBox One) which is one of the major space hoggers along with Fallout 3, the latter can't be seen to though because my fiance still has saves and things she needs to do on that game, the same applies to Oblivion and a few others that are storage heavy (gotta love Fallout: New Vegas for its small dlc!).

Padding details, coming up with post ideas...

Please bear with me whilst i pad out my
bio etc!

The start of something big?

So i thought i'd have ago at blogging and see if i can actually focus on something constructive for a change.

I mainly enjoy gaming which is quite a dominant thing in my life, as well as cooking, which has been a slowly growing interest in the last few months.
